Born and raised in the small town of Memphis, Indiana, Shawn is proud to bring his small town, country personality to his clientele.

Shawn is a graduate of Indiana State University and a Certified Public Accountant. He has over a decade of experience at a top 100 accounting firm and a large national firm specializing in benefit plan audits, He holds memberships in the INCPAS (Indiana CPA Society), AICPA (American Institute of Certified Public Accountants), and the EBPAQC (Employee Benefit Plan Audit Quality Center, through the AICPA).

Shawn has diverse experience in auditing benefit plans, including profit sharing, 401(k), 403(b) and defined benefit plans. These plans ranged in employee counts from 100 to over 50,000, and assets ranging from $5,000 to over $1 billion.  He has served these benefit plans with locations from California to Florida.

Shawn founded Pooler CPA Group, LLC to offer a more focused approach on clients and their retirement plan audit needs. Shawn believes that clients should receive what they invest in, which means having the partners of a practice fully engaged throughout the audit process. From the beginning to the very end, Shawn will be the one serving you,  providing a quality audit.
